Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of SweepBar, made by EgeTech LTD. By installing or using SweepBar you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use it.
Your license
Scanning is free. Sweeping needs a license key, which you get with a one-time purchase. A license is yours to keep and includes all future updates. It lets you use SweepBar for your own work, personal or professional, on the Macs you use. Please do not share or resell your key.
What you may not do
- Copy, sell or share SweepBar or your license key.
- Remove or bypass the license check.
- Reverse engineer SweepBar, except where the law allows it.
Deleting files
SweepBar deletes files only after you confirm, and deleted files do not go to the Trash. It is built to remove only caches and generated folders that can be rebuilt, and it lists everything with its size first. You are responsible for the items you choose to sweep, and for keeping backups of what matters to you.
No warranty
SweepBar is provided "as is", without promises that it will be error free or fit a particular purpose. A cache that "grows back" may take time to rebuild, and some tools may need to download things again.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, EgeTech LTD is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost data, lost time or lost profit, arising from the use of SweepBar. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the price you paid for your license. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.
Updates and changes
We may update SweepBar and these terms. When the terms change, the new version is posted here with a new effective date.
